Parâmetros biométricos da pele em pessoas com diabetes mellitus: umidade, oleosidade, elasticidade e pH

Objetivo: Avaliar, por biometria cutânea, a umidade, elasticidade, oleosidade e pH da pele de pessoas com diabetes mellitus tipos 1 e 2. A regiões avaliadas foram: antebraço, palma e dorso das mãos, perna, calcâneo e dorso e planta dos pés. O exame foi realizado antes e depois do uso de creme à base de ureia a 10%. Método: Estudo clínico exploratório, longitudinal, do tipo antes e depois, sem grupo controle, realizado em unidades básicas de saúde de Pouso Alegre (MG). Participaram 34 indivíduos. As medidas ocorreram nos dias 0, 5 e 10, utilizando o Skin Analyser Digital e o medidor de pH modelo 6118 (Fujian WatapproveElectronic), após aplicação de creme de ureia a 10%. Resultados: As regiões avaliadas apresentaram alterações significativas em dias distintos. Observou-se melhora expressiva na elasticidade e no equilíbrio geral dos parâmetros cutâneos após o uso do creme. Conclusão: Após 10 dias de uso do creme de ureia a 10%, a biometria cutânea indicou melhora na umidade, oleosidade, elasticidade e pH das áreas avaliadas, evidenciando maior equilíbrio da pele em comparação com o primeiro dia de avaliação, demonstrando a aplicabilidade do produto como cuidado simples e benéfico.
